2024 GIOCP CONFERENCE IN PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING
Join us at the 3rd Conference on Professional Counseling 2024 in Colombo, on 7th December 2024. Family Physician/ Psychological Counselor/Senior Lecturer & Mentor/International Certified Trainer/ Public & Motivational Speaker & an entrepreneur.
He works in both the Government & Private Health Sectors in Sri Lanka. Currently working as a Grade 01 Medical Officer at the Nawagamuwa Hospital & also is practicing as a Family Physician & a Psychological Counselor at Blue Cross Medical Center Rajagiriya.
He is also involved in both Government & Private reputed Educational Universities, Institutes & also in the Corporate Sectors as a Senior Lecturer, Mentor & an International Certified Trainer. He is also a Public & Motivational Speaker & a Visionary Entrepreneur.

Prof. Dr. M.B.S. Niranjala Fernando
M.A., MSc SM (SL), PhD (UK), Hon. D.Sc. Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist also practicing as a psychological therapy counselor.
Prof. Dr Niranjala is the Founder, Chairperson, Administrator & Training Director at Niranga Academy of Arts, NAA Child Protection Project Sri Lanka and Global Institute of Counseling Professionals. Qualified in Life transformation therapy and psychology from IBAM India and Trinity World University – U.K. Her teaching experience is more than 30 years. Prof. Niranjala is the author of several books, including “Jeevithayata Gunadena Viyayamaya” and “Suvayata Maga. She is also a public trainer and a social worker.
Prof. Dr. Niranjala also won the Lanka Achievers Awards in 2020, due to recognition of social development work and humanitarian services rendered for the betterment of society. Prof. Dr. M. B. S. Niranjala Fernando was respectfully awarded this, as the Service Excellence Award as Global Education Ambassador and World women’s leadership awards in 2022.
Prof. Dr. Niranjala is also a member of the editorial board of the International Center for Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy ICCPP.
